What Everyone Must Know About the 2022 Philippine Craft Beer Festival

In celebration of National Independence Day, Philippine Craft Beer Community is hosting a three-day event that highlights the flavor and diversity of local craft beer. The Philippine Craft Beer Festival welcomes 30 local craft beer breweries with over a hundred different beer styles from June 10 to June 12 at the Greenfield District Mayflower Parking in Mandaluyong City. The biggest local craft beer celebration starts at four pm and until midnight.

Craft beers are known to be more flavorful and relatively healthier than the commercial types. And artisanal beer culture is slowly gaining traction in terms of popularity in the Philippines. Since 2018, this festival has been consistently bringing craft beer enthusiasts from across the region together. This event welcomes both the cultured lager enthusiast or the neophyte with no judgment. Brew masters are there to chat with everyone with a beer at hand, of course. Let’s drink the night away and taste fruity notes, special spices, and the bold flavor of ale this weekend.

One of the crowd favorites is Boondocks Brewing Company, founded in 2016 as a passion project. They’ll let us sample their award-winning Strong Ale and Summer Ale, which won a Bronze Award and Chairman’s Selection at the 2021 Asia Beer Championship. Then, Crazy Carabao Brewing Co. will be all out this weekend with their Golden Ale. It’s a light, refreshing and cleansing ale brewed with a perfect balance of Pale Malt and Australian Hops. And be enchated with beers by Engkanto Brewery.
